This work of art shows the Margate Bridge in 1968. The Margate Bridge was built by Ole Hansen and crew in 1929. The bridge was acquired in the early 1960s by the Hansen and Capaldi families through a Sheriff's sale. The privately owned Margate Bridge Company continues to operate the bridges and causeway, which is a scenic gateway of marshland and bays to the down beach communities of Margate, Longport and Ventnor.
